Naturopathic Medicine for Adults, Adolescents, and Children

Dr. Cori Burke offers evidence-based naturopathic medical services for children, adolescents, and adults. Although naturopathic doctors are trained as primary care providers, Dr. Burke does not practice as a PCP and only offers adjunct naturopathic care. It is best that you maintain an active relationship with a primary care doctor who can assist you with routine screening exams and urgent concerns.
Dr. Cori Burke specializes in the integrative management of complex chronic health conditions. She has particular expertise in perimenopause & bioidentical hormone therapy, digestive health, autoimmunity, EDS, dysautonomia, chronic viral infections, Lyme and Vector-Borne Diseases, and mold and biotoxin illness.
Dr. Burke has a passion for helping people who have not found answers via traditional allopathic western medicine and has found that her greatest strength is in listening fully to the stories of people who have long been ignored and helping to unravel the root causes of their health concerns.
Dr. Burke currently practices in the Portland metro area, providing non-judgmental, personalized care for all genders, ages, and sizes. She is a trauma-informed practitioner who utilizes Health At Every Size® (HAES®) principles and framework.
Dr. Burke is in-network with many commercial insurance plans and can also bill many Oregon medicaid plans.
What to Expect at a Visit with a Naturopathic Doctor
Naturopathic doctors take the time to get to know you and your health
Initial office visits are 60 minutes and follow up visits are scheduled for 30 minutes. This gives ample time for a thorough evaluation of your health. Allowing enough time for visits also means less waiting time for you because appointments are never double booked.
Your First Visit
During your first visit Dr. Burke will take the time to listen to your story, review your previous labs, and address all of your health concerns and goals. She will perform physical exams as needed for diagnosis or monitoring of your health conditions. She may also order additional lab tests or imaging. You will leave your first visit with a better understanding of your health conditions and a concrete plan for moving forward.
Personalized Treatment Plans
Dr. Burke will provide you with personalized health recommendations and get you on a focused plan to start feeling better. Depending on your health concerns, your treatment plan may include:
- Nutritional advice
- Individualized herbal formulas
- Homeopathic remedies
- Nutraceutical supplements (i.e. vitamins, minerals, and amino acids)
- Recommendations for stress management techniques
- Pharmaceutical prescriptions
- Referrals to specialists, counseling services, and other providers as needed
